Long time no see. I haven't been in much of a blogging mood as of late, and it's probably a result of piles of class work, but today has been a good day thus far, and I'm eager to share my life stories with BN.
Where to start?

School has been a pain the past month. With anything and everything, I've felt like I've have had trouble balancing my social and academic life. I can already rate my academic performance this semester, and it's not good. So much for trying to exert more effort..I don't know why, but I'm just bad at it.
I've also been slacking about going to class and turning in homeworks. The homework part is mostly a result of not going to class. Even though I do them, I don't always turn them in, because I don't goto lecture. I'll probably be hit hardest for COM114, because attendance actually matters, and I'll probably get a B as a result of it.

All of my important dealies are done with, so all I have now are finals. This morning was my COM114 group presentation, which I'm glad is done with. Last week was the exam week madness. I had my ece exams Tuesday night, CAD exam wed. night, and dynamics Thursday night. Unfortunately I missed most of the Roots concert wed. night.
Overall, the scores came back mediocre. Not as well as I had hoped on some, but not disappointing either. I was mostly worried about dynamics, because I missed a lot of lectures/homework, but I guess studying pulled off.

It's kind of weird that this is the last week of school. I feel like the weeks can go on for more. Summer is near, and I have no plans as of yet. shame.

My weekends these past few month have been fun but also tiring. It seems like everything is just one big party. This last weekend was Grand Prix happenings. Friday was relaxing. The weather was great, and I pulled out the tank top for the 1st time in awhile. I started working on my ECE lab report while enjoying an Italian Soda at the Village Coffee house just to realize the report is taking a lot of effort... so that didn't last very long. My night ended up hanging out with Kaveh and Bridgette and watching The Office, Flight of the Concords, and Wristcutters: A Love Story. I stopped by Battle of the Bands/Carnival night by the corec, and conveniently it was very close to Bridgette's apt. I mainly stopped by to see Oh! Discretion and grab some free foods.

I was not expecting to run into Snebtor, Fortress and gang, Eli, and some other kids, so that was cool, but I also didn't like running into old HS people that you don't really talk to but awkwardly acknowledges.
Oh! Discretion was good. I ran into Cody, whose band was apparently playing, but they were scheduled to go on at 1. I said I would potentially come back and listen, but I knew the chance of that happening would be slim, and I would probably not be very sober at that point.
Alas...

----------
Saturday was Grad Prix day and the day that everyone is wasted and Chauncey is trashed. I crashed at the apt Friday night, and Bridgette drove us back around 1 pm. By then, Breakfast Club was winding down, but drunk people and wasted bottles and trash gives a scenic view to the Chauncey bar area. We didn't see any "wow" costumes, just the typical sluts, bros, and wtfs.

Kaveh and I started drinking with Mike and Connie and Luke who joined later, from 2 ish. From then on, the day was just odd/surreal/? as time was lost as a constant.
Somehow we ended up above Von's at a not-so-bbq BBQ. Even though I was feeling great (but tired) at this point, it was still awkward and we left. Somehow we ended up at Qdoba and met up with Shep and his friend that just got engaged. Somehow we started playing Bags outside of the apt with the neighbors. Somehow Kaveh ran off by himself and got drunk piercings that he took out already. Somehow I drunk cooked potatoes that turned out decent, but salty.

By 8 or 9, when everything kind of just happened, I was pretty tired and was ready to pass out, but the night hasn't even begun, and it would be a shame to quit early. I decided to stop by my friend Brian's party that I was invited to. I think we made it over around midnight. Ryan, Curtis, and Justin were the only guys that stuck around; I guess the rest of the gang was too cool to stay. Molly showed up later too, so it was nice to see her. I chatted with Brian mostly. What was left of the entourage headed out to the bars, and I stuck around and hung out with Brian. It was interesting to discover a little more about him, because I really had no idea. He apparently has been reading tarot cards for a few years and read mine. Honestly I don't remember much of what he said, but it did make sense at the time.

Overall, Saturday was fun and different, but I did realize one things: drinking all day is tiring and a hard job.

PS. I like my new w580i Walkman; it takes pretty pictures.
