New Year calls for a downgrade

Hey it's New Years Eve! None cares..
It would've been fine if nothing had happened today, but unfortunately for me, it did.

I would say it all started on Monday. My dad bought me a Laser Printer for no apparent reason. Not that it's bad, my inkJet was awful.
What I find to be weird is that the printer used an USB instead of Printer Port. That I complained about since I only have 2 USB on my VAIO, which both are already in use.
"Let's get that upgrade already!"

My dad's been wanting to upgrade my computer for the longest time. He bough a new case, mother board, cpu and all a long time ago. We did try to add them onto my comp, but something didn't work out( I think the ribbons were too short). So I never really bothered with it for awhile. An upgrade is good..my VAIO is fairly old and a piece of crap. But there's also other factors upon an upgrade:
I'd have to reinstall all my programs. ( have done it twice already..hate it)
I might even have to reinstall an OS ( operating system)

So I just left it alone and used what I can....Until that day we got the printer...
I guess my dad just couldn't contain himself. He took apart my computer that night ( I couldn't really stop him..) and took out most of the parts: CD-ROM, 2 hard drives, floppy, memories, etc.
The case he bought ( apearently from ebay) is way to big. I mean it has 6 CPL and hard drive slots, 4 cd-rom slots, and on top of that...I hate it! I don't need all that space...it's meant for some computer nerds...

I thought at first the whole "taking parts out, putting parts in" would be easy..but, I was so wrong.
I didn't take us long to move all the parts to the new computer. The only problem we encountered was that the floppy ribbon was too short..no biggy. Once we hooked it to the monitor and gave it ago...it didn't work. For some reason neither of my OS(Win98 and 2000) would start; there seems to be a problem with the hard drives. My dad thought it might not recognize which is the Master or Slave ( Yeah..isn't computer weird? Masters and slaves....male and females...Why don't they just name it 1,2 or A,B? I could talk more..but maybe later). Anyways, that took out about the whole day, and we just went around in circles.

Day2, Wed:
I advised giving up and just go back to the original, but my dad...god he never gives up.
Today we tired to reintall an OS. He went and bought WinXP from him work ( It's only $5!) For some reason it required a new partition, but the 2 I have are already in use. In other words, I had to sacrifice one of my hard drive. I was forced to delete everything on my C:/. it was only 7G, but I probably had some stuff I wanted on there. All this to get XP to work...and it didn't. I really just gave up then, but my dad..
He fooled with it more, more than he should have.
dad:" Umm...why is there 80G on here?"
Me: " well that's the D:/..duh.."
"What??!?"
"??"
"oooh..so that's why..I knew something was weird.."
"What did you do?"
" Well...umm...I think I formatted your D: drive.."
~Silence~

If you kept up with our convo...I'm pretty much screwed. My dad thought the D drive is the C Drive, which meant he formatted the D drive.which..god...
which mean he deleted everything I have on there...which is everything I have.
He claims he didn't..or he can still recover it, but I hightly doubt it. Just think of all the things I had on there..all my files including school stuff, artworks, music/movie files, and all my program files. I still don't know if it's really gone or not..but guess I'll see soon...

Wed., 7:39:
So I'm here on my dad's laptop. At least we still have an operational computer to help alittle. My dad is installing 2000 right now...on my old comp. I just hope it works.

I really do not know how this whole thing will work out. All I'm hopping for is my D: and an working computer.
If you'd like to help solve my computer mystery, drop me a tip/advice whatever.

Oh yeah...Happy New Years...
not

 My so called upgrade
I can't even do anything without photoshop >.<>

Weekly Report

My week is over. I have to say my stay at Tullahoma wasn't so bad. Although it only lasted
for 4 days, I still had a good time.
The only thing I hate is the road trip. There's nothing fun about being in a car for 7 hours. On top of that, another
3 hours stuck in a traffic jam. The day was Wendsday, the starting date. I stayed up that night hoping to kill the time
by sleeping in the car. That didn't go to well.. I barely got any sleep in the car, but was still tired and such.
It snowed that day. Not much excitment for me; I've seen enough snow already. As we got onto the highway, there was a
huge traffic jam. I didn't know why, but we were stuck there for 3 hours...
But that's not all of course, My dad, being a "talented driver" that he is, pulled out of what could've been a messy
situation. At the time, I was trying to get some sleep, but all of a sudden, the car started screeching. I thought we might
have just drove off the road, but that wasn't it. My dad have this bad habbit of tailing other cars. Appearently, he stoped
way to slow when the car infront of him slowed down, so he slammed on the breaks. But remember, the road. So the car started
skidding in circles. My dad said he had no idea which way the car was going, I guess we're just lucky it didnt hit the lane
beside us. Instead, we drove into a ditch by the side..w00t...
All and on after, my mom complained about my dad's bad habbit. It was pretty annoying since I had to listen to her say it
so many times. But she'll learn her lesson too..you'll see.

Anyways, we made it to Tullahoma unharmed. I can't say it changed any, still the way I remembered it. We drove around abit,
even went to see our old house---didn't change either. We stayed at Larissa's house. Our parents are good friends, and they came
to our house on Thanksgiving. The first thing we did was getting on the computer. I totally got Larissa and her little brother
addicted to Priston Tale. They had two computers, I had my dad's laptop, so it all worked out.
We basically played the whole 4 days. There wasn't much else to do anyway.
I don't have much to say about christmas, it was okay. The mp3 player from my dad, but he claims he bought me something else.
I got a Cheat hoodie from Larissa, and I do like it. I was joking about stealing her Trogdor hoodie last time since I liked it, but I guess she took me seriously. Alas, my favorite present have to be the box of Cheese Rolls.
Taped on the box was a piece of paper that read:
"This is not Cheese roll, please open"
I thought it was pretty funny, but I guess you have to see it to really get it. So I opened it and it was Powerpuff girl socks... I would've
totally gone with the Cheese rolls.

Friday was my get together day with friends. I went with Bisby to have a fun-filled day of DDR-ing. Our plan was to the mall at Murfreesboro, but with some unreliable source, we ended up in Hickory Hollow at Nashville. I had doubts about the mall. I didn't think they had an Arcade. Well, they did, and a DDR machine too! Surely that's what we wanted, except the machine was broken! >.<
Yeah..great idea Bisby..it's still all your fault!
So the rest of the time we saddened over the situation and such.

When I got back, I was abit tired. I headed over to Kristen's
to hang out with her and Cassie. We didn't have much in plan, so we did what we always do: goto Haisting's. The best part about Haisting's
is their used CDs. Everyone likes cheap cds.
Not much happened that night. We talked and watched "Murder by Number". It was still fun for the most part, and I wouldn't be able to do it for a long time.

That's about my trip. I didn't get too much done, and I'm abit sorry for not seeing some people. ( Sorry Krysta! ) But hopefully I'll be back soon.
I barely had any sleep all those nights, but I guess it's worth it. We left around 9 this morning heading back to Indiana. But like I said, it wasmy mom's turn to learn a daily Traffic violation. It was in Kentucky, almost at the border to Indiana, that my mom recieved her first speeding ticket. I really don't know what it is about Kentucky and Indiana. Everytime we take a trip to Tullahoma, my dad end up with a ticket in Kentucky.
I'm really starting to hate that place.

you probably haven't noticed, but I'm writting this in the car.( still on my way back) I'm bored. I can't post this now, obviously, but I will when I get home. We're already in Indiana, so I hope that'll be soon. This is a long post I'd say,
took me awhile too...get over it.

yay

I'm fairly glad it's the holidays. Exams were just so frustrating. I think I did well on most of them. I was also surprised that the Bio test was fairly easy. I crammed as much as I could in study hall. Most of the questions was from our past tests. English was kinda killer though. We had to do a 1,000 word essay+ 500 word+ 10 short questions under 2 hours. We all complained of course, but she didn't care. We never had a test in that class, so its kinda a hit in the head for most people. Somehow I thought she might have changed her mind and only give us one essay question, but little did I know the other essay was on the back of the page---I didn't realize till the bell ran. But Ms. P was nice to give me 30mins on fri to finish it.
I got out at 1:30 on fri. I met up with Genia at the Union to hang out. The longest ever, we stayed till 5. Afterwards, we headed to the theater to watch Lord of the Ring. She bought tickets a long time ago b/c it would be sold out by the time we get there; She's a die-heart fan..unlike me. I have seen the other 2, but never really got into it; maybe if I read the book...

By the time we got there, it was already packed, and we were about 40 mins early, but we did managed to find some good seats. I guess the movie was pretty good. I didn't get bored like the first installment. I won't comment much on it.
First: I don't know what to say really.
Second: I don't want to spoil it.

So thats about that.
Sat: didn't do much. My parents had a party. For me I just grabbed some food and went up to my room. I also had to go ring bells for the Salvation Army; WeSSo project. I was that person everyone just ignored because they don't want to donate to the poors.

I don't have much in plan for the break. I went Christmas shopping today and got some nifty gadgets. It really doesn't feel like Christmas for some reason. But I am going to Tullahoma as far as I know; this Wed. 7 hours in the car....w00t....

How to speak Elainglish!

With this at-home kit, you can learn to speak Elainglish in no time at all! Just follow these three simple steps. Step 1: Remove the letter "s" from the end of random words. Step 2: Take the removed letters and place them on the back of new words. Step 3: Repeat.

Now you're all set to speak Elainglish! Confuse your family, confuse your friends, and have a damn fun time pissing off your English teacher!

Almost break..with out the xmas cheers

Well tomorrow Exams start. I've been studying hard for the 5 classes I have, and it's not going too spiffy. I kinda figured already I'm gonna get at least one B in a class. On top of that, I got my PSAT scores back today...not the best, but no one cares..except for my parents. I don't know why I'm doing so bad in Geometry. I know everything and I'm better than most of the people in my class, yet I still have a B-. It's not fair at all..but then no one cares..except for me.
There's not much else to do except studying right now. We did have a band concert tonight, no one was appreciative since it's their "cramming" time. But I dont care, because I have all night to study.
I guess the only good thing about exams here is you only have to goto school at your exam times. So tomorrow, I won't have to goto school till 1:30 for my French finals. Which means: more sleep for me, and study time!
Well I'm off doing more studying...wish me luck on the finals...I guess...

More about my weekend

Well the weekends finally. Not the best, but I'm ready for a break..
If you haven't noticed, I'm pretty occupied right now on finals. It really sucks to have all the pressures on the students while trying to learn new materials and cram everything before the last week or so. I won't talk about it so much; all I want is a good grade.

So it is weekends afterall, and I have time now to write a little post. Because I'm so cool, you would want to hear about my exciting friday:
I actually had an okay night of sleep. I didn't eat breakfast b/c I had a party in first hour French. French is easy even to me. Mme. Kline doesn't really teach all that much. She gets carried away in her teaching and goes off with her "life stories". She yells a lot and seems to be an "angry little woman", but she's actually pretty nice. We had the party today b/c it's "foregin language week". Though our "foregin cousines" consisted of chips, root beer, brownies, and apple pie, who doesn't want free food? In history we reviewed the chapters that is going to be on the exam. I just realized I should have studied sooner. Oh well...
I studied frantically for 55 mins in study hall hoping to finaly ace a Bio test. Being fairly prepared for class, I found out the test was on Monday, and I got a tardy for going to the bathroom. Damn you Bio.
Band surely took out all the stress. For the first time ever in my life, I sat with boxes of oranges and grapefruit, doing no other than examning them for quality. Fruit sale is pretty common in every band, but do they examine every peice of fruit to make sure they're perfect? We did certainly. I worked diligently, going through at least 20 boxes. I must say I now have the skills to stack oranges neatly back into a box. And as a bonus, I recieved a free molded orange. w00t
In english, my group did our presentation on Huckleberry Finn. Near the end of the class, our principal and a photographer came in and wanted pics for the Newspaper about ISTEPS( the state test thing they give out each yr) So I was talking about the book, and the photographer walked in front of me and clicked away. Yeah, act natural. Oh no, it wasn't awkward at all. He just stood in front of me..for a min. It was kinda funny b/c whenever someone started talking, he would rush there and start taking pic. Sometime he'll walk there and pose..but walk away. Yeah ... we're so pretty<---class motto

Once I got home..I felt free. I can finally do what I wanted; so I did.
I stayed up till 4am ish playing Priston Tale. It's fun selling stuff to others at an exthorbant price. The good ol days...
Anyways. I haven't done too much today, but I am going to take an hour or so studying. It's snowing right now but no so big---it snows too much.

To conclude this post, I found an article on MSN : Sex bracelets. I sort of laughed since I thought it was just a " local fad" ( ie: web blogging), but I guess I'm wrong. Read the Article here.

Oh I have to add this..Our neighbor is playing cards with my parents, and their 3 kids are over. They're 5 ish. Annoying kids..but amusing. They find everything in my study room intresting, and they're playing house:
stuffed toy fish: the mom
Paper airplanes: Starfishes ( the kids)
Mini basketball goal: Stove top ( pretty creative I'd say. The basket is where you put the pots in, kewl eh?)
stuffed frog: um..i think it's suppose to be dead.

They Killed Black Santa!!

On Dec. 3rd, the black Santa was killed by the Cincinnati Police. You might wonder why one would do such a thing to every kid’s favorite man, Santa Clause. Racism perhaps. Would a White Santa be killed? Let’s analyze the story:

Dec 3rd, a cool night in the metropolis of Ohio. Nathaniel Jones, aka “The Black Santa” was eating out at a local White Castles. Oh but he’s just an ordinary black man. Jones was a jolly 350 pounder dancing his way in the restaurant. ( The perfect Santa material) But the crowd wasn’t so enthusiastic unfortunately. When Jones had some fun rolling off the hill, the clerk raised an eyebrow and called the fire dept.
So comes them.
But they called the police too.
So then the police came; 4 white men and a black man.
Jone put on a happy face “ ho ho ho, whities and rednecks!”
He swings to the police giving them a Santa hug, but the police obviously got the wrong idea.
The 2 white men tackled Jones to the ground and pulled out their nightsticks. They continiously beats the Santa yelling “ Put your hands down son!”
The beating went on for awhile and was recorded onto the police cam. After various beating methods, someone yelled out
“ omg! Help!”
“what?!?”
“Wait..he still have a faint pulse!”

Jones was rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately, the Black Santa didn’t make it. Friends and family and people of Cincinnati was outraged and blamed the police force for prejudice act. The police decared it was a homocide b/c of Jone’ss poor health problems.

Although the Black Santa was obese and had cardio probs and was a big time drug addict, we will still all mourn for his life and question the racisim issue.

Your BN reporter, Lain 12/10/03

Side note:Just a little bit of new I thought I would share. I wanted to post this last week but didn’t get a chance too. I guess some of you might have seen the report on the new, but this is my interpretation :) It kinda fits in on what I’m doing in English now, Huckleberry Finn.Pretty good book that’s a satire to rasicim, royalty, society and such. If you like the read a full article( and a more accurate), goto CNN or any of the News sites.

I am not responsible for any wrong interpretation of this post!

Folly-vous-franzy

It’s finally Friday for a change. This week felt especially long for some not so odd reasons. I’ve been up lately almost all the nights. Result: Tired during school. I was so close to falling asleep in my last hour, Math class. It’s not typical of me that it isn’t. But it doesn’t matter really now, b/c it’s Friday!! :D And another thing, it snowed today. The day it snowed for the 2nd time was and is going alright. We didn’t get out if school. I guess the snow isn’t considered “big”, but it is too me. (It’s still snowing now in fact) I didn’t have time to grab my cam this morning and take an early snow scene. I love the trees with all the snows that look like silver upon branches. I guess that’s one part about this weather I like. It’s so pretty.
Today was also the first time I’m late to school. I’ve been really close to getting a tardy within the last month or so, but this is the first time. Hey it’s not my fault. blame it on dad for running into the bad traffic.
First class is French. Madam doesn’t really care if you’re late. So lucky me. We had a culture experience which is basically a party ,and we eat. I’m looking forward to home. I deserve a chance to finally relax…and do more homework. I’m in the library again. Sitting across from me is the debate class doing some researching I guess. I can’t really figure why they would want to debate out of class on their own spare time. Dating strategy for some?...That would be weird. Maybe I’ll go ask them.

Snow is pretty.

Back at the Vasilla

It's about time. I've been off and on for a while now, just things to be done. Guess it's been about a
week now... Going back, Thanksgiving was awesome. I had tons of fun. But it wasn't so great after the turkey and the video games and the late night parties. The 4 days off made school seem not so kewl. I mean all the works I'm going back to do: Reading, writing, reports...ack...
But it's the inevitable. So I'm back to school..w00t...

There seems to be more work than ususal. Christmas break is just around the corner. I too have been busy the past few days. Finals are in 2 weeks and I'm worried now. Even the teachers pressure us to study cram study. I'm expecting the worse. I haven't started studying yet since I already have so much homework. Last min. projects and reports---evil.
My biggest concern is Biology. I'm still working to get an A, but Overley's not making things any easier. We have one more chap to go over before Exam, andI'm not get any of it. He expects us, being an honors class, to read over the chap once and understand everything. Not to sayI hate him, b/c Overley
is a pretty nice teacher, but it's just too much for me.

I did have fun yesterday though:

    How to make cheese:
  1. Buy milk and enzyme Rennilase from your local grocery store
  2. mix 10 part milk and 1 part enzyme in small quantities
  3. Warm up cup with hands.
  4. There should be a chunky lump after 5 mins.
  5. Enjoy now or let it sit for one month.
  6. Congrats! you just made your own curd and cheese!

Every teacher is unique might I say. Some just doesn't show it. I noticed today that Mr. Pugh, my history teacher, is..umm...I'll let you decide: After lecturing about Louis XIV, just near the end of class, he took us on a "field Trip". He lead the class out to a door and pointed at a green car parallel parked between these two cars. The trick was, there was little and even no space between the cars. So he said " Okay, that's Mr.X's( I forgot the name) car. He claim he parked his green car in between the two that was already there. You think that's possible??" So we're all like "mm..nah...no way!" He nodded and lead up on a crusade to Mr. X's room
and started ranting and calling him a liar.

See my point? The story isn't practically good...but I can't think of anything. Did I tell the Halloween story? We were just talking in the beginning of class, and a student(male) asked him if he saw yersterday's news paper. "Well Why?" and so the student replied " Well there was a pic of kids trick or treating at a sorority and I just stared at the 3 college chicks."
Mr. Pugh " ooOO.."
Student " One of them was dressed up as a French Maiden."
Mr Pugh: ~silence..look around and ran out the door~
We thought he was playing but he actually ran off to the library and grabbed the newspaper.

Point #2.
I haven't thought up a good word to describe him, but the time will come.

On other notes..not that much. I'm getting off the topic of school, because I have to read my english book now.(I'm at school currently)
I can't think of anything major to say; I have a boring life.

A pretty random post..but then not

Skool is kool. Not for the most part. I’m sitting in the library tring hard to finish my English essay, but I drifted off subjects again. Surely bloging is much more fun than finding color symbolism; besides, I needed to update.
I woke up this morning just like any other Sundays. I stayed up late again last night drawing .(Hopefully it will pay off someday..) It felt pretty warm outside judging from the temp in my room, so I topped on a hoodie and got ready. When I walked down stairs my dad was already sitting with his daily waffle and milk ( same goes for me unfortunately). he said to me:
”look outside, it’s snowing!”
I was surprised to see it, but it’s true. I wasn’t all too excited though like the first time snow hit last year. If I woke up today to see 5 inches of white in my yard, then I would probably be excited. It was indeed very cold outside, but just yesterday it was warm like spring. How things change. Just yesterday I was running around in a T-shirt shopping with my parents for Thanksgiving. Just yesterday I performed at our 2nd band concert in our “mass produced” concert attires. Just yesterday, and two month, I wasn’t here at all. It’s weird I tell ya.
Anywho, enough with the serious stuff, I should get back to English and stop blabbering.Time doesn’t care, and snow doesn’t either! So much stuff are going to happen this week; I’m not sure I wanted it all. I’ll conclude my post here and wish you all to have a Red Badge of Courage, but just don’t go killing yourself. :)

Did you know?
It’s illegal to buy booze on Sundays in Indiana.(Who would’ve known?)

Same O, same o...

>.<. This week's been going slower than usual, and I'm definatly not looking forward to tommorrow. School is okay for the most part, except it's a lot harder. Especially the tests which chews off so much of the final grade----and mine is not good.
Biology sucks the most b/c I failed my first and only test so far. Though I tried my best to bring up the grade, I have a B-(One pt from a C...). On top of that, I thought I was doing well i
n Geometry, just to find out I have a B. A mediocre B!! I don't really care anymore..You shouldn't be judged upon your grade, but SATs--I suck more on that...
On lighter notes...nothing.
Tomorrow we get our progress report with all my wonderous grades on it..I'm so screwed.
School isn't that great this week.I'm still pretty busy with homework and the english paper on red Badge of Courage.
But to relieve my stress, I've been in my artistic mood lately. I've been working more with photoshop and open canvas painting.
Just one more week...

I'm in a stabby mood..^.^

Back by popular demand, it's...

BaZz! Well I’m back and bazooka network is up and running! Not that I went anywhere... I have been very busy lately, school work primarily. I stayed up all night for the past couple of days working on papers; I guess I’m wrong about things are easier here. Biology isn’t going so well here. I currently have an 80 in the class... oh and I wonder why, perhaps..I failed my first test? Yup. I can’t blame it all on myself now, since I did miss just about oh 8 weeks of school. So to make up for it, I’m gonna work hard on our science project paper. I’m actually proud of myself for working diligently and not slack off, and yay, I got a 100!^.^ All the other classes are okay, finally finished my History paper, and I found out Mr. Pughe changed it to be due on Mon... You can say I’m abit short of luck, but it does pay off.

Today we had a 1/2 day in school, which meant we got out at noon= 30 min classes. It’s nice...no work, just talks. At 11 we even had a convo in the auditorium to watch the symphonic orchestra and percussion ensemble perform. The orchestra was good, they played Chicago and LOTR; I kinda wish I played a string. The “drummers” were..intresting. It’s funny how there are about 13 of them and they have their own “drumming” class. At the end they did a performance on garbage cans.
I like the black light show much better...back in the days...

So that killed and hour of class and we all happily headed home for a fun-filled Thursday afternoon. I had a different plan though.
The Union.
Gennia invited me to go with her again [see post 11/2] and Lenna. So I said yes and we walked to campus after school. Purdue’s not that far from our school actually. The closest building is only 5 mins away. After struggling long with the weather (yup..the north wind has finally landed), we arrived after 10 mins. As I expected, the place was pretty empty. After all school is still in session. But every once and a while some computer geeks (no offence) would come in and play like a round of DDR in oni mode---guess they need to relief their DDR urge after every class...How funny.
We hung out till 2 O’clock and headed back for the school where my mom picked me up. I wasn’t planning on it but Jennifer called me to go see a movie. Well sure. So at 3 we went to see...well what else than Matrix. I’ve heard many comments about the movie and how it was “crap”, crappest of em all. Then I heard it was “awesome.” I’ll be my own judge.
Well...it was good. The fight secenes were awesome and other scenes were sad and shock. Like when they...okay, I won’t spoil it for those who’s s
till in confusion. The end was very confusing though... All and all it was decent. We even stayed after the credits because we are such devoted fans...they could’ve at least put some stuff at the end, maybe like, oh a trailer? >.<>

One more thing

Oh yeah folks, don't forget about the Lunar eclipse tonight! Once in a life time chance! (Not really..but way to advertise..)

Week4

I haven't been in the mood lately too post, but I dragged myself here b/c, well, there's nothing else too do. I slept in late today and it felt great, but then now there's nothing to do. I finally got Priston Tale to work, but its on my dad's laptop. So I'm sitting here..chowing down my Raman Noodles; I wish it was yersterday again...
After an extensive planning to go see "Matrix Revolution", I ended up going to see the school play with some friends. For one I heard Revolution sucked..worse than Reloaded. So is it worth my 7 bucks? I dunno, guess I will find out next Thursday.
The play: "Phantom of the Opera." I heard about the novel before but never read it. It was about an hour and 30 mins long. Part of it was funny watching people I know acting, and the other part is laughing at the poor acting of the main character, Christine. Worth $4? part of it..at least I get extra credit.

(Okay okay, this post was short, I promise to add more content next week if I'm not so lazy. And the answer to pic of the day was: well yes Cassie, cell phone with out the cover!)

Just a few changes

Yup.
Halloween is over ( sad..) so I must switch my layout back to the way it was. Smart as I am, ( just look at all these HTML work..) I didn't save my old template.
Genius.
So for the last 1+ hour I've been working on a new template to make the page fresher. I've added some stuff but not too much. I'm suprised it took this long. Well, hope you enjoy the new layout, b/c I worked hard on it. Although it doesn't look as good as some other's blog, ( cough) I do deserve a little credit.

Anywho, not much happening today. I have a new Pic-of-the-day up, so enjoy and keep those guesses coming.

I'm so happy cuz today I found my friend..they're in my head..

Happy Halloween..ish

I haven't had chance to post on Halloween night nor last night. Pretty busy that I am.
The story begins on Halloween..2003. The day started out fine;school was just there to get over with. There were some people that dressed up; good and bad.Besides my first Biology test which I most likely failed, everything else was good. I rode the school bus home as usual, and it feels like forever on a friday. As soon as I got home, I went on the computer and played DR. No reason particularly, just felt like it; help pass the time. I was waiting for Genia to call, since I'm going trick-or-treating with her. Around 6:30 she finally did after getting back from swim practice. I headed to her house with my costume.
Yeah the co
stume. I couldn't really decide to be a Matrix rip-off or a Mafia mob. The only thing I agreed on was my black trench coat. With Genia's help ( she went as a pimp/mob), I pulled off as a mob..ish. White Tshirt, skirt, tie; school girl look? I had various comments by different people: Wallstreet broker, gangster, a Blues Brother, etc... But hey, who cares about that? it's all about the candy.
Oh yes the candy. Genia lives in University Farms, which is the biggest subdivision in town---300+ houses, practically 1/2 the students lives there.( Now I kinda wished we bought that house there...) We covered alot of ground, but that just meant more candy. It all works out.
We talked and walked for about 2 hrs. The scaring-kids-and-steal-their-candy idea didn't really work out, but we got tons of candy. Oh and can't forget the toothbrush.
After that we went to the Union. It's basically a campus hang-out place. (Note: If you don't know already, I live in a college town---Purdue University..go Boilermakers!) The main purpose was goto the arcade and what else then DDR. She's a huge DDR freak. It's kewl b/c it was Halloween night. We weren't the only people dressed in costumes, some goth and angels, and transsexual and nerds; alot of Neos and Trinitys. The place was pretty good. there's the arcade, bowling ally, pool table, and food place. We didn't stay that long, about an hour, but just in time to watch college geeks who doesn't have anything better to do than play DDR. Interesting I suppose, "Max Unlimited" on standard. ( For all you non-DDR people...that's hard/insane.) So the day is good. I had fun; makes me feel young again.

On the other hand, yesterday was long. I had to get up at 8 for a "fun-filled" trip to Chicago. How I loath getting up early on weekends.
Chicago isn't all that far, 2+ hours. I'm use to long road rides now; I use to hate being in the car for 1 hours going the Nashville. The purpose of this trip is..well let's see...not Lowe's, but yes, furniture store! :) This one is okay, I kind of looked forward to it, but then it changed in the end...
IKEA is the name. It's a huge warehouse sized store selling furniture, decors, rugs, and all that stuff. It's okay b/c it sells contemporary stuff and most are pretty cheap. There were hordes of people, and believe it folks, the parking lots had more cars then Wal-Mart does. It's a 3-story building in a circular design. We browsed the store for almost 3 hrs. Things didn't turn out all "peachy", we argued alot like your normal everyday family. I was tired towards the end and bored. I bought little stuff here and there for my study room; lime green and orange never looked this good.
So my Chicago trip was fair. I slept the way back and before I knew it, home sweet home.

Toll fees: $5.50
parking fee: $4.12
IKEA: $132
Not being able to use a mastercard at the general store by wabash: Priceless

How many rounds are in a circle?

School's been going pretty well.In history we had "Islam Day." ( Not to be confused with arabs and muslims..they're very different!) All it is that we talked about Muhammad and the 5 pillars and thou shall pray 5 times a day and thou can have more than 5 wives...stuff like that you know. Study hall is great, I can totally work on my homeworks and projects. I did more research on Dante. Inferno is really a great book; I'm only 1/2 way through it though. I'll put up the link to a quiz I found on the web; which circle of hell well you end up? the quiz is okay in general, but I think I could've made up a better, simpler one with my enlightened brain on Inferno. The link is at the bottom so enjoy. I'm interested to see what your result is.
Moving on.
Biology is pretty frantic these days...and very hard. We've done 3 consecutive labs and this one is among the hardest. If you're so interested, it's " Using colorimeter, CBL, TI-83 to calc. Protein concentrations in milk." It sucks.

Band was good. I was getting tired of playing the same Ol fall concert music. We sight read some pieces for the winter concert, and a piece our conductor composed for a marching band (i.e. circus music)
English was fun. We were studying "Devil and Tom Walker" last week and had to make up a song about the story to present today. My group "sang" a tone with DDR background music. ( "Max Resurrection"; guess it kinda fits with the theme)
Can I say poetry reading?
I had fun mocking the other groups.

That's about all the excitement in school. It's getting pretty cold here, snow may come any day now. I just now found out there's no day light saving here; Indiana is Special. Yup, so that means I'm on eastern times right now, which kinda sucks for me. I should start a petition.
I put up some Halloween decorations around to house, though I don't know my plan for that night.
Scare little kids... I have the evil power..

Anywho... here's the test, have fun and don't be sad if you wouldn't make it to the same level as your friends...get over it, or get evil. ( this fits pretty well with the whole Halloween thing eh?)

I want to know what you got!
Take the Dante's Inferno Hell Test

Week3

Today was a gloomy day. My dad woke me up at 10 for a "fun-filled" road trip. We originally planned to visit Chicago and "IKEA decorating store", but we Ended up going to Indianapolis--my new state capital. The weather wasn't all that great as you can see in the pic. It was pretty cold and rained most of the day. It isn't all that far, one hour or so.(Indianapolis is the new Nashville!) We wasted tons of time trying to find this furniture store, which is the main purpose of visiting the city, or might I say, the boonies.

    Places I loath:
  • Furniture stores
  • Lighting stores
  • Carpet stores
  • Lowe's

I don't see how adults likes to browse a store for hours looking at finely assembled pieces of wood that they usually never buy. I'm talking from experience here folks. When we got our new house back in Tullahoma, I don't remember how many of those stores I've been to; it's horrible I tell you!Ahhhhh!Soo boring...just like Lowe's. First the lighting store, then 2 furniture stores, and McDonald's ( I won a large fries w00t!) Afterwards, we tackled two more furniture store, then Khol's. I bought a shirt for $5; guess that was my only excitement for the day. After a final visit to Home Depot's, we finally headed home around 7. Dad got a ticket from the cops. Nah just kidding, thought I'd take a pic of the "unlucky one." I'm really starting to like taking photos. My dream job of the day is to be a photographer uncovering government conspiracies. Yeah, like the game "Beyond good and evil."
Anyway, so I got home...it was still raining, and I was tired.
This weekends going slow. Good and bad I suppose. I had the entire friday off for our one day "fall break"; better than zero right? It's a nice break to get away from school; still have tons of homework to finish tomorrow... I now have a new history paper to do, and it's not even an honor's credit class. I got an A on the Punic War paper; let's see how well I'll do on the "Dante" paper. Surely you all know Dante and his "Diving comedy." I started reading "Inferno" last night and it's pretty good...but long.( I wonder what'll happen if I chose Chaucer instead?) Of course Friday is never the best time for homework. I spent the entire day playing DR..yup, that's the life. Movie thing didn't really work out this week, but I still want to go see Kill Bill next week or so.

Well I'm going to take this time and thank everyone who's still visiting my blog. It's appreciative and good for my counter :) I know my blog wouldn't last forever or even 5 years. (Blogger most likely will go bankrupt or make it a paying service...or I'll just quit) But the audience is everything right? Everyone gets their spot light now, and maybe even later. So thanks, whoever you are, just be glad you never visited Indianapolis' boonies.

Boo

Just some minor changes. Since Halloween is nearing, I thought about changing the template just to be in the mood.
I don't like it that much anyway.

School felt long, since we had to take the PSAT all morning. I got to school abit late after the 8:00 bell already rang. I just sort of followed the mass of people since I had no idea where the test was to be taken. I arrived at the gym just to find out on sophomore A-D was suppose to be in there. I smacked my head and walked back hasty to the other end of the building; lecture hall. So I go in and everyone's there, and the teaching reading out the instruction. I walked up to her only to find out some kid already took my assigned seat. Well what's the solution? I sat in my own little table at the very front just beside the podium.
I feel sooo special.
Taking the test was a pain----literally.
The chair I sat in was way too high for the table ( they were practically at the same level). The entire time I had to lean my back down all the way which is painful after 3 hours.
Math was really easy I thought, I figured all all the question expect for one or two.But I really hate the English part. For one I don't like vocab, 2nd it sucks to read all the stuff.
Did you get the essay about adult reading books is hick-ism?

Anyways, I missed 4 classes b/c of PSAT, good and bad. I didn't get to finish up homework as usual in my 3rd hour study hall. The rest of the day was pretty good. Band was 30 mins longer due to our concert for tomorrow night. But hey, still had 35 mins. of lunch left. In English we're studying Edgar Allan Poe once more. ( Back in the old days of 8th grade...good memories) We did, again, watched Simpson's "The Raven." Eat my shorts.

"The name 'Griffin' will be as well-known through out the art history
as Kandinsky!"

"...Who?"

"um..Memling..?"
"Who?"

"..Da vinci?"
"Who??"

"uh..Bazooka Joe?"
"There we go!"

(Justa nice quote for the day.)

Week2

Things are the usual. This week went by really fast for some reason, not saying it's a bad thing. School was fairly well. I like how my schedule is expect for the fact I'm stuck with freshmen in 3 classes. Come to think about it, they're really annoying.( I wonder if everyone was like that their freshmen year...) I really like the lunch, just go out and do whatever. It makes the 2 afternoon classes seem pretty short(despite the fact it's English and Geometry).
Weekend's been going all right, I went to a Halloween party at an Elementary school on Fri. My friend Jennifer invited me to go with her since her little sister's going. Sounds alittle "childish", but I went . It actually wasn't that bad, sort of reminded me of the costume party back during my Elementary days. We didn't dress up of course..That would've been not-acting-our-age. There were games, food, free food, prizes, and other stuff. The games were a piece of cake, and I won some prizes yay! And for a low price of 50 cents, I won a cake! Wow was I lucky or what? 1:20 odds. The night went well, I even saw my history teacher, Mr. Pugh.

Food: $1.00
games: $.50
complaining to your history teacher while having a good time: Priceless

We left around 8:00 and I hung out at Jennifer's house till 10PM. We were planning to go see "Kill Bill 1" but that didn't work out b/c we didn't have a ride; maybe next week.
All and all it was fun, but sat. Wasn't all that pleasant...
Yup, another paint day.
I had to get up at 10 which is a killer on weekends. I grabbed some bites and hastily drove to Lowe's with my parents.
How I despise that place.
My parents being parents, strolled around the 50% off nursery for I-really-don't-wanna-know-how-long. Then we headed to the paint section. I bought a yellow for my bedroom( just like my old one), and a lime for study room. The paints are a nice cool bright color. Last I bought a dark Burgundy for my bathroom. Yeah I know it's kinda dark, but it'll turn out good.
So that night we went to work. We started with my room, and it only took an hour. The color was pretty bright and we had a hard time just looking at it. I left my mark on the wall, but it's gone now... Dad bought me a mirror for no apparent reasons.
I don't like mirrors in my bedroom.

Next we moved on to the study room which is next door. I really like this shade of green. This one we did in less that an hour also. Maybe we should start a family painting biz...
So this room looks good; it matches my frog collectioneven though I don't like frogs that much.

Right now my parents are working on my bathroom while I sit here and indulge on my chocolate cake. Tomorrow's the first day of 2nd nine weeks; more work to be done...
I guess that's about all. Oh yeah, the pic of the day from Weds. Unfortunately no one got it right. The answer is:
100 individually wrapped Bazooka bubble gum in Hebrew.

I wonder if they have Hebrew "Bazooka Joe" comics?

It's cold in here...

It rained today. It haven't rained since the first day I got here. Funny to think back that day when I stared out the window from my new house and though about how I would write all this in my blog.
Times have changed.
Today was fairly slow, with the gloomy and cold weather. It's been really windy here; I wouldn't be suprised it it snowed tomorrow. I woke up at the same time every morning, 7:00. Things are the same except the sun wasn't all in my face. Dad drove me to school about 10 mins. away. I walked into the main door of this three story building...West side High...
First class: French.
I wasn't suppose to start French till my junior, but I'm in that class now to catch up oh just about 8 weeks of stuff.
Easy.
I don't like the teacher...she scares me.
Second hour: World
History.
Things are easy in there since I'm way ahead of them. ( they're not on a block schedule) I like Mr. Pugh, and I offten wonder why he didn't take up a career in acting or a Theater Art's teacher. We're learning about Rome right now and I have to do a paper on the Punic War. Fun.
trois heurne: Study Hall.
I went to the library again to work on my paper. They're really strick about the computers. You have to log into your own account to get on the computer and even use IE. While in there, I also checked out a copy of "The Art of War";
Just to expand my reference for my paper and something intresting to read from time to time, not that I'll understand everything...
4th hour: Biology
Biology's okay for the most part: Pretty good teacher ( Albough is still among the best), pubescent freshmen, and whole lotta polymer crap. Its not easy for the most part.

5th hour: Band
Band is one of those classes you don't need to worry about, and it's also enjoyable from time to time. I have to say their band dosen't suck as I imagined, and it's a pretty small band. I'm suprised they started a marching band this year consists of 30 dedicated band members and a very crappy football team to cheer upon. Today we got out unforms for the up coming concert. T
hey're not marching unforms, but dresses.( the guys wear tux) Now our band director is pretty kewl, yet weird. He's young, and would I say too energetic. It's so funny to watch him start conducting b/c he put tons of body motion+ the crosseye and constipated look. What a guy.
6th hour: Lunch. yay
As I mentioned, we have an open campus lunch where you can drive/walk eat where ever. I stayed at the cafeteria today since it was rainning. The food sucks. I didn't eat that much but rather utilized the time to finish up some of the homework. Good job for me.
7th period: English.
Well almost the end of the day, if I can sit through this class. Our teacher, Ms. Packskewski..Ms. P to be called, is fairly cool. She's only like 26 and into all the stuff we like. I heard from someone that she has this huge tattoo that covers her whole back. Now that's something. American Literature isn't my most favorite s
ubject, but I guess she kinda makes it better.
8th period: Geometry.
Last class w00t! But it's the freshmen's again...>.<>

This is a post about teh Bis.

I have REAL bowling actions!

Alan likes to bowl, in fact it's his favorite thing to do in the world.
Alan's name is Albino Bowler, but people call him 'Dick.'
Alan doesn't think so, but he's really a midget,
Alan is confused sometimes, about his wild libido.
But that doesn't matter, because we all love Alan.

It all started a long long time ago...

"The legend began on a crisp October night in 1994, at a small 12-lane alley just outside of Abido, Tennessee. League night was winding down and, as usual, some of the guys decided to stick around and roll a few games for money. About midway through the first game, the doors swung wide open and a pale figure with a bowling bag stood in the doorway. He walked in slowly, pointed at lanes nine and ten, then sat down to change his shoes.

The locals' games had all but stopped as they gazed at him with curiosity and amusement. They noticed that just above the stranger's breast pocket was a hand-stitched name: Dick. Paying no mind to their low murmurs and stifled laughter, Dick put a brace around his wrist and pulled a gleaming white bowling ball from his bag. He squinted at the lane for a few seconds, then took a slow steady approach and sent the ball speeding toward the pins. The ball rumbled out toward the ten board, drowning out the whispers and chuckles, then slammed back into the pocket with a thunderous crash. As the pins lay scattered, some still spinning from the force, Dick turned back toward the ball return, nodded and smiled.

For the next half hour, the locals were treated to an extraordinary display of bowling virtuosity. They watched in awe as he rolled strikes and picked up spares with an amazing array of shots, all executed with uncanny precision and artistry. He never said a word — he didn't even keep score, and he barely even noticed the spattering of applause when he was finished.

And then he was gone. Before the other bowlers could ask him to join their league he vanished out the door and into the night. Those who were there that night never forgot what they witnessed, and many people have since claimed to have seen his thick sideburns, steely pink eyes and gleaming white ball in some small bowling alley, in some small town on some memorable evening..."

another one bites the dust baby!

"Major Bowling action here man!"

FireXpress

W00t weekend. Is it really that great though? When the bell rang friday at 3:30, I thought to myself : "hey, it's friday." Then what? I wanted to go see School of Rock, but I don't know where the theater is. Or hey, what about the mall? nah I rather stay home and utilize the internet.
So I've been working all weekend.
The house needed work even though it's new. My parents and I spent the 2 days painting. Our living room + kitchen was already done on friday; a light forest greenish color. Last night we did my dad's study room. The paint was a cheap $4 from where other people didn't want it. The colors okay, I had some fun painting my masterpiece.
It turned out well.
I was forced to get up at 12 today. The sun hits my room pretty bad and it's like a boiler in my room around that time.
I don't like my room.

Today we worked on the master bedroom. It's fangoriusly large. ( like 1/2 of the 2nd floor) The color is a nice neutral lavender. The more I look at the paint the more it looks like yogurt. It looks so good to eat ( and no..I wasn't hungry at the time..) I mean the color is good and the texture. Creamy thick swirling thingy...mmm; the smell might need some work.
Anyway, we started the room and got done in about 2 hours. Pretty easy and better than last night's job. Of course I had fun with this one too. My arm as the canvas.
Better yet, there's more excitement to come next week folks! On the menu: my very own bedroom and study room. What color will I chose eh? Pretty in pink? Bloody red? hippie rainbow? Find out next week! Same time, same place.

Hope you enjoyed the pictures and giving you inspirations for your next big project. I must go now to play a round of DR, cya.

Tu es de Lafayette?

Non, je suis de Tennessee. Greetings from Indiana. hooo...
Been a week since my last post, since I just got DSL today. Let's just say too much things have happened for me to write it all, so,to make my part easier, I'll put them into OLs.

    Crap --->eat my shorts!

  1. This is the major factor why things sucked: my tooth. Since the day I left the condition worsened, and I was (still am abit) in pain...major. My left cheek was all swollen and made me feel like crap.

  2. Moving company. We didn't get our stuff till the day I got back from first day of school. 3 days in my new house with almost nothing.

  3. Classes. Since they have 7 classes a day, I had to catch up on alot of subjects. Biology( I ready don't get that crap..), English(pretty easy, all they do is literatures which have its pros and cons..), and last of all, French. I don't know about it French, it's not that hard right now; maybe I should have taken German....
  4. Lot of other stuff I forgot...but they're crap too

So there. Other than the crap there's always the not-crap( Chocolate ice cream I suppose) things. School's descent. I changed my mind about favoring the 8-class a day better than block schedule. It feels like long days everyday. The classes are 55 mins. long + the 50 min. lunch.(yay!) I'll talk about all my classes sometimes later, but lunch is a whole different story and the best part. During the 50 mins. students get to leave campus and go anywhere. Thus the cafeteria food sucks.
I wish I have my license.
The non-drivers usually walk over around Purdue area to eat. Purdue, if you didn't know, is a really good university that almost everyone has heard of located in the city of West Lafayette which most people never heard of.(Note: that's where I live now.) I walked to McDonald's today with some people; lot of college kids there.
I need to take more pictures.
Thanks to everyone who emailed me when I was gone. Except for the one fangoriously long email I received from
a certain someone.( won't embarrass you here :) I kinda miss Tullahoma abit. I could really use that 1 week of break. Hope you guys are having fun doing what ever, I'll post later.
Isn't it kewl? "Would you like an evil Asian McNugget with that?"

Almost gone

Soon. Things have been frantic around my house. I stayed up till 1for two nights cleaning out my room and packing all my junks. To my luck, I found out that the moving Company people does the packing for you. I did all that for nothing. But the good side of the story: I found tons of stuff I was looking for. Last night was kinda suprising. Kristen called to hang out at her house and go eat. I'm for it. Her sister, Heather, picked us up and had to make a quick stop at Red Lobster to pick up a "cd" from her friend "Danny" who works there. Sure yeah. So we got there and the waitress was like " You guys with that big group that just came?" That kinda threw me off, but I just followed along. When we walked over there, the first person I saw was Ann-Marie. I was like "Hey what a coincident she's here too." But when I looked over to the other 4 people sitting beside her: Cassie, Krysta, Andrea, and Jessica; I realized, hey, this is for me. I kinda stood there for a moment laughing.
So much for Danny and his CDs.

We ate and had some pretty good laughs, took a few pictures and had more laughs. Our "big sisters" left after they drove us to Hastings; it was good times. So then we embarked on our usual hasting journey; used cds! w00t! This time was big. We bough 4 cds so we can get the 5th one free. What a deal. After the usual long period of cd browsing, Cassie's mom came and dropped us off at Kristen's house. Apparently they had another surprise there. I walked into the living room and *gasp* , 99 Red Ballons......Literally. Yup, 99 red balloons sitting in their living room; a warm-and-fuzzy moment. But the fun part is yet to come...25 balloons had messages in them so I had to pop them. Fun.

We took abunch of pictures with the balloons, then had to clean up the mess. We then talked for a bit and decided to walk around; and we did. First we walked over to Cassies, which was only a block away, to get her stuff. No biggie. On the way she stuck a balloon in someone's mailbox, which I thoughts was pretty funny. Anyways... we had the idea of walking to my house, which requires us to walk to Blue Creek subdivision and cut through the woods.
So we did.
Ann-Marie was the one who didn't think it was a good idea, since she's kinda scared of walking through the woods.
But we did.
When we got to the entrance of the wood, it was pretty dark..pitch black more like it ( due to the fact there wasn't a moon out). That kinda drove us into the hole since we had zero flashlights. We stood there for a while debating to go or not; Ann-Marie was definitely on the 'No' side.
And we didn't.
We walked back having the hope of getting some flashlights. We saw Jamie, Cassie's neighbor playing basketball appearently, and Cassie thought it would be funny to sneak up from the bushes behind his house. He saw us but just stood there. So finally we jumped out the back and waved at him. It was then we noticed he wasn't really playing basketball...nope, archery. We were all just kinda laughing geekishly; lucky for us there's not arrows through our head.
We told him about our situation and hinted him about giving us a ride or flashlights....he must've been an idiot.

We walked back to Kristen's house giving up the idea of walking me home. A lot more talking went on after till my dad picked me up at midnight; he was kinda moody for some reason. I stayed up abit late to listen to the new cds. I didn't really get a good sleep b/c my tooth was hurting me (and still is) for some reason.

Now I'm here. I woke up early to do some last min. cleaning. The packing people should be here anytime now, and I'm pretty sure they're packing the computer today. So this is probably my last post in a while; I dunno when I'll get internet and TV up in Indiana. So now it's time for me the leave. I didn't want to post a pic b/c the comment thing isn't working; or I think. If you miss me already drop me an email or a phone call; I would like that. Till then, peace out.
Oh and save the tears. :)

Another Monday

hello. It seems like all the hard work has been done, but I was wrong. Lately I haven't been in a mood to post, mainly because my last big post was erased accidentally ( stupid IE). So now I'm here, Monday noon.
School ended fairly well. I did better than expected on most of my exams. Friday was just okay. It would've been better if it wasn't for the 4 hr band practice at noon. The game went well; we won as I have expected. Actually, we didn't win--they lost. Hey it's Warren County, and they suck. So the 40-0 is really no big deal.
Time fly by fast. I got up Saturday morning at 7 and prepared for the marching contest at Columbia. It was a long day let's just say; I really don't feel like touching the details. We didn't win...McGavock did. Stupid McGavock parents only cheers for their school. That kinda figures why the entire time they performed people were all cheering. No matter, we did great.
When we got back that night/morning at 2 AM, I said bye to most people;though I did miss some people that I wanted to bid my farewell ( sorry). Come to think of it, I didn't feel sad at all ( maybe a little), during the course of that day. I don't know why, guess it hasn't hit me that I'll be 7 hours away from here...

On to other subjects. I haven't made too much changes for the site. I added a better looking header (as you can see). My plan is to improve the layout---HTML. While I was searching for some pics, I found out there is a German band named "Bazzooka". Pretty nifty. I thought I would post their logo on my site:

Well here I am now, with a day that hasn't been too fun. I've been cleaning my room all day and packing. Pro: I found a lot of junk I lost. This is the worst thing about moving; maybe the 2nd. I don't have much to talk about, gotta go clean again. Later

Cheeesy bread

Just felt like saying that, it's so much fun. Today was kind of on the sucky side, It's like jumping from the east side of the street to west side of the street.( yeah..I dont really get that metaphor either..)Maybe b/c it's almost my last 2 days. Anyways, Top of the morning to History. We had a sub while taking our unit test a day before the big exam. Thank you Mrs. Rider. The test, as I expected, was hard. Not fangoriously hard, just plain not easy. Even though we got to use our notes, ( thank you Mrs. R#1) I felt like I did horrible. I fear my grade in there is also horrible, just horrible.

But cheesy sticks lightened up the mood. We had a Domino feast in math today. We got to order foods by our groups. My group, consist of Taylor--"I'll kill you all!";Lauren--"Lets all poke Elaine and maybe she'll talk.";and Nick--"Time to Leave!" ordered a pizza, drink, dots, and CHEESY BREAD! Jordan "Tiger" Marble butted into our group which really pissed Nick off, but not as much as we all hate Aaron Johnson's annoying laugh.( We all wish to stab him to death...) All and all it was good.
English is boring, I'm really surprised we did so little work compare to last year in Blocker's class. I'm not too worried about the exam for I have a 97 average currently. w00t. We had another movie time; Mrs. Roberts sat behind our little area..Probably spying on us.Thank you Mrs. R#2.

Band kinda sucked. I got slammed in the face by the bathroom door. Long story short: While I was changing at my usual spot behind a bathroom stall's door, some freshman slammed it open and crammed it in my face. Gezz..now I'm beginning to see why underclassmen sucks..at least some of them. Anyway, Rachel made us stand out in the field while facing the sun during practice; my eyes really hurt.
I came home today and worked on History exam review all afternoon, almost proud of myself for studying. I don't know if my exam grades are going to count since I'm moving..in a week. Yup...horray for Indiana... It's sort of weird b/c I don't have any feelings. I feel like I'm going through my days like 1 year ago. I really dont feel that sad..yet. But save the tears for later, now I gotta go. Later.

Nacho Day

Today was my last Nacho day for a fact. w00t...Though I can start naming a lot of "my-last-days", but I'll save that for another time. Today, today was alright. I'm really getting to not hate history for some reason ( probably because there's only 2 more days left!) I can finally see Mrs. Rider hates us...along with Mrs. Roberts. ( It's the Rs I tell you...R=Revil) Mrs. Roberts, our English teacher, acts all nice and quiet everyday, but it's those kind of actions that implies she's planning something...bombing the class with a bazooka...
On lighter notes, band went swell. The guard mocked the band while they all stood in the shade practicing. Good time.

Now, concerning everyone's questions:

  • Zach: Do I win the "pic-of-the-day"?

No you do not win anything for guessing a pic of yourself. I mean hello, everyone know that's you so it's pretty much a gimme. Try gain. And yes, I'm so kewl.

  • Cassie: I should get more fame..Zach's just a poser.

Yes you did get it right, but mostly b/c you've seen it. And I'm sure you wouldn't want me to post 'your pic' on my blog do you? I thought so. :)

  • Alan : "I have an awesome name for your site.. "Evil Asian McMidget! W00t!"

I'd like fries ,if you pay for it. Or better yet, gimmie back my dollar.
but even a better thought, why don't you change your blog to " Fat wannabe midget on steroid" description: " I'm so hot..I just walked out of the closet ...sw00t!"

Well I hope that clears up any discrepency. I have been working on some new banners and things. I got this great idea of using McDonold's golden arch and put a line under it ( so it's a 'B') then add 'z'. So if you rotate it 90degrees, it'll look like " Bn". kewl I know. you'll seen when ever I finish it. Untill then, peace out.

(there's not a pic of the day today...)

WoM

So much things happened this weekend. to start off, Friday. The pep-Rally wasn't all that necessary---not that it helped, we lost the game anyways, but it was a good excuse to shorten band practice. After band we were suppose to have a "picnic" with Overton band, but they didn't show up. Cassie, Kristen, and I hung out with each of our sisters. Andrea, Jessica--both in guard; and Krysta the field commander; respectively. It's all abit confusing, but you know how sisterhoods are so popular these days. We had so many laughs it was great. Krysta invited us To spend the night at her house; a good sophomore/senior bonding(no..not flute bondage), and we did. Even though we lost at the last 3 mins of the game, I had a great time cheering and yelling and singing (which Martin didn't really appreciate).

Anyway, we all gathered at Krysta's about 11:00PM; her house, like everyone would agree, is spontaneously huge. It's also extravegonly decorated inside, like an estate right out of a movie. We sat around for abit talking and eating cookies.(have you noticed how cookies are like pies?) Later we moved up stairs to one of her many rooms and watched "2 weeks notice". Most of them fell asleep, ( I could tell from the snoring) but I stayed awake to finish the movie. It was about 3:00 almost. After a amusing incident with the TV, we, all of us, finally went to sleep.

I woke up the next morning with Cassie ticking my feet. The last thing I remember about my dream was stabbing someone with a spear. We gathered our stuff and headed to wal-mart. There we just bough some snacks for the long trip to come. I finally got home around 9:15AM and made some final adjustments for the band trip.

Ahh, the band trip. We took a long bus ride to Hendersonville HS where the contest was held. Not all that exciting since I was still abit tired. The day felt long to prepare for our show. I had a pretty good feeling that we'll do good; and we did...Or so I thought.

After our performance we watched the tape. Everything looked great, the band, the guard, the props; the crowd was cheering the whole time. We had to wait about 1 hour before the trophies were presented. We lost to seagull. We were the only 2 bands in our division, but we won 2nd best overall band. At the time I just shrugged, it didn't feel so bad to lose this year than the last, maybe because I didn't try my best this year. All this all, we were still all happy. We packed our stuff and headed home for another 2 hour ride; just talked abunch..Pretty interesting stuff.

So now I'm here, all bruised and cramped. There's so much to do and I've wasted a lot of time writing this post. Oh well. The "pic of the day" from Thursday is a guitar. Cassie and Zach got it right. Since Zach wants to claim all the fame for getting two right, I'm here today to proudly post Zach's picture on my humble webblog. And here it is everyone, your favorite Zach in town...

 Isn't Zach so kewl?

Is there a full moon tonight?

Well hello there. Today was such a nice day with light breeze and sunshine..And moon. My day the usual everyday routine: woke up at 8:00, ate breakfast, be a good girl and goto school, sleep through History class, and then, math.
9:50AM: Class started usual, we actually had math in nature for the first time. We calculated height of large objects by using similar triangles. All went well for the most part.
10:50AM-ish: We worked quietly as usual when sudently, the window started to shake as a car approaches with it hideously loud bass.(Geez I mean what is up with those people? It's like get a better stereo). It's not new since it had happened before, but that wasn't it. As the whole class turned heads to see the red sport car pass by, we didn't expect to see something occupying the window; we were mooned..By a fat kid. It was obviously disturbing for the whole class. Mrs. Carter our math teacher just kinda laughed.
3 minutes later: Being a stupid fat kid he was, the car passed by for the second time. Of course being smart honor students we are, we jotted down his license plate number. Hehe...And so on we continued solveing this real-world word problem. Mrs. Carter called into the office to find out who the student was; We waited eagerly for the answer. Along a guest also appeared--Coah Hargrove.

Hargrove: So did you get to see who it was?
Mrs. Carter: *laugh* not from my point of advantage.
Hargrove: Why don't you just turn these kids over and pick out the right one.
Class: *garbling laugh*

Come to think of it this could be turned into a great play based on a true story with a happy ending. We finally got the answer. The kid was from Franklin County, apparently already graduated. Lucky for him I suppose. But even luckier, Mrs. Carter goes to his church. Sunday's have never been so fun.

Anyway, here's the pic of the day I said I was going to post.(and no, it's NOT invisible...) I hope it's not that hard:

Last words of wisdom:
So is there a full moon tonight? The world may never know...

Another quick post

I'm in a hurry..as usual. Today was decent for most parts. History started the day as the boring class. Yesterday was actually good because we "interacted". We tested out the mideval feudal system; I was the lord. Onward with math; we had a substitute( w00t!). Mrs. Crabbry, and I'm serious she has problems. We got into our group ( Taylor,Nick,Lauren, and I) and it's chaotic as usual...in a good way ish. The worksheets and notes just adds more to it. I really dislike geometry, and english is about the same. Boring play, boring movie, almost give ancient Greek a bad name."The Golden Ages",psshh...
Mrs. Colman gave us a 'talk' again yesterday, meh, I've heard worse. I do agree with her on the account that our guard line isn't doing the greatest, mainly of all the slackers. Band for that matter dosn't seem to be better than last years. I won't ramble on about that since I don't want to start a political band war.
Anyways...Now all that's out of the way, I guess I'm doing okay with the 'Pic-of-the-day'(other than the more 'imaginative' answer I've recieved' *clears throat* and yes, It's two bannanas guessed by Dan. The prize: having your name mentioned on my site...done! I'll post one tomorrow and leave it on for the weekend.

Comments? Suggestions? Feel free to post or Email me. I want to hear your ideas. My site sucks? Needs improvments? I'm so kewl? Stuff like that. I'm on the verge of adding Midis to the site..Just because. Well have fun and later.

More Work..ish

Things are finally slowing down with this blog. I've ended my scrutinizing days of working on the template ( HTML=evil), and now I'm starting on better things. As you see below, it's a footer I made last night ( kinda suprising since it didn't take me that long). It started as a flash project on FlashMX, but things didn't work out well. I might work on it more later and get the balls to move around and such. I finished the rendering with PhotoShop if anyone's curious.
Anyway, I'm starting something new, like a pic of the day. I kinda figured this webblog isn't really my "onlinee journal" since it's not called "Elaine's kewl online jornal", instead it got a name "Bazzooka". So I'm gonna make this a fun site. I grabed my digital camera today and just had the idea of taking pictures; I thought I'll be cool to put it on my site. So for the first time, pic of the day people:

Well take a guess and post it on the comment, I'll give out the answer tomorrow or so. Fun? Pretty easy I think. well that's all for now, later.

FTP

I'm really starting to hate Blogger. The more I look into it and other webhosting sites such as Geocitie and Tripod, the more I ask myself and others using Blogger " why the hell do you use this crap?" Here are my reasons:

  • There's no storage space to upload files
  • There's no subdirectory pages
  • The interface sucks and lacks features
  • To much work depending on HTML
  • It sucks...basically

So there you have it folks.
As of now I'm keeping my blog on Blogger..for now. Through my day dedicated to browsing for a better webhosting, I found Angelfire to be fairly good. It let me use FTP for free unlike other sites. I'm planning now to switch all my files onto that server. Also on Angelfire I found their Blogging tool which is so much better. It's easy to use and requires little HTML knowledge. I'm planning on switching soon.
But as for now...
My weekend has been a long. The game on fri was decent, even though we lost.Kristen Cassie and I got a ride with Cody to subway; Our "sis"(except for Kristen's) were also there---what a luck. I had fun in the stands screaming my lung out.Only one thing, I felt bad for Kristen as it wasn't her day--many bad eye incendents. I for one, accidentally elbowed her in the eye and it was all red after. People came up to her and was like "Omg Kristen, what happened to your eye??" Gezz...that sure makes me feel better...
On other accounts, Sat. was good. I got tons of vg hours in so I'm happy with that. As for today, I've been "working" to improve my site and get storage space. I guess it paid off okay.
I fixed my footer ( thanks to Zach) I just didn't know the file tag .Here it is again in a smaller version:

Intresting Blog

Another day gone by and nothing. Everyday seems to be the same for me..I come home sweating and starving from band practice, I go take a show, I sit down on the couch and watch TV while snacking on whatever food I can find. When my dad gets home, we eat dinner; I'm the first to leave the table. After, I seclude myself in my room, grab my cd player and start on homework. Usually I take break(naps) while doing math, then slip into the computer room (now) and do my everyday internet routine;that's a story of its own. I stay on till about 10 and slips back into my room. There I finish up hw and get things ready for the next day. I pull up the covers and listen to my cd till I fall asleep.

Now, onto more amusing subjects.
School is another same routine as usual, so I won't touch on that too much. Band was actually one of those good thursdays believe it or not; for me at least.
I noticed how alot of people have a blog now. My friend, my friend's friends, and their friends. Some of them are good, some very good, and some..so-so. This goes back to my point of how people (including me) needs to learn html even though it's not the best comp. language out there.
All and all, I don't want to bored you, tomorrow's out Coffee Pot game, I'm looking forward to it alittle since I might get to see some people I know from C.County. Too bad we're mostly gonna lose. Oh well, it's not like I'll be here for the play-offs anyway. Now I must continue my daily routine, Adios.
okay one last thing, I'm going to show you my first Bazzooka footer..and yes..It does needs alot of work..

My bazzooka Footer

Final thought: Why is it so big? and the eyes kinda creeps me out...

MathSucks(b/c Im doing hw right now)

Just the load of geometry homework. Girr I really hate doing these proof mostly b/c I don't know how to do em!Math class isn't that bad, Taylor and Nick keeps the group entertained. We were talking about this episode of south park near the end of class and how it was making fun of the mobs.
" It's Time To Leave"

heh..meh..yeah..anways, all the other classes were pretty boring. We read the play from yesterday in English; I'm suprised I didn't fall asleep. Band was so-so, got pretty tired at the end.feel sorry for the band :P Not much plans for today, maybe just burn some CDs. ( Alice in Chain and Metallica) I really should start doing something kewl to feature on the site..can't think of any though...mmm...maybe some kinda review...?

    POO METER:
  • HISTORY-- boring videos...urge to kill...
  • MATH-- boring notes and homework( the hw deserves one "poo" by itself)
  • ENGLISH-- same as history with the stupid video and play
  • BAND-- comparing to other band days

Now wasn't that great? I should come up with new stuff more often ^.^ As you can see "poo" isn't kewl, but "Poo" is:

(for all you people with no idea, Poo's from the wonderful world of Ness "earthbound" Game's
pretty kewl..with Poo!)

well that was a pretty good dose for today kiddies, this post might look pretty simple with the kewl pics and stuff, but it look me awhile to get it done b/c all I could use is HTML..-.-...btw, I quit on Math hw, even though I'd be finished by the time I finished writing this post( just to show you it look me a while to do the HTML crap),but it turned out nice, so hey. I'm gonna add more things to the template . As for now cya soon

Nothing Here

Yo. Looks like another day have passed..nothing big. Today was a normal monday, pretty okay. We had a test in history, actually nice since it takes up the boring class period of Mrs. Rider's lectures and questions no one seems to answer. Learned more geometry stuff in math; Nick didn't bother me too much. English had to be the worst, we started out with reviewing our group essay which sucks in my opinion, pretty much b/c our group sucks. We spend the next one hour watching this old school video over a greek play named "Opideus the King'' or whatever...So as for me, I look alittle snooze. I have to say it's the first time I really slept through a class, even though I wasn't technically "sleeping". Just shut my eyes and listened to there boring convos, but I did doze out for abit...just a very short period. Well, with my luck and everyone else who fell "asleep", Mrs. Robberts decided to take up the notes we "wrote" and take it for a grade..hmm..lucky me. My day ended with band, kinda long but not too bad since I was in the shade most of the times. Mrs. Colman gave us a "speech" about how we needed to work harder( At least it's more encouraging than her last one).
Anyway, so I got home and watched TV and did my homework and all that good stuff, and now I'm here. This post is longer than I intended but oh well. Hmmm...there's nothing much I can think of to say, so I guess I'll just leave ya with a quote:
" Radio Killed the Video Man"

heh..I'll do better next time..I hope. Peace out

Sunday Sucks

Yup. Another day gone by and I've done nothing. I woke up pretty early around 11, didn't feel like getting out of my room since my rent would make me do chores and homework. I pulled out my "Nirvana" cd and started listening to it.Out of boredom, I also pulled out my guitar to figure out some of the riffs to the songs. Went well I guess, I figured "come as you are" and it's been linguring in my head. But that's just my morning...
I ate some bread and sat in the living room with my parents watching HGTV. Only when they left to do chores and such did I get the chance to play abit of "Arc the Lad." I really should finish that game since I borrowed it from Alan. Rest of the day just went by pretty slow. I worked on some homework and floated into the computer room. Since DR is still offline, I took some time to perfect this blog.Lets see:

  • uploaded lots of pics to my server
  • worked on some of the pics ( logo, pixel ppl, etc..) and my crappy footer(only a little)
  • changed most of the color scheme on the site
  • Posted this post (yay)

That's about all. It actually took a while, but I still have tons of things to work on:

  1. Learn HTML
  2. Learn more HTML
  3. Use knowledge of HTML to make this blog better
  4. Start on a new footer that's good
  5. Get linked ( not like anybody's reading this right now anyway..>.>)
  6. Invent a better language other than HTML with hellova easier interface
  7. keep on learning HTML till then

I really don't want to go back to school...History test, English essay, Guard practice till I die...Sigh....Poo
Till then enjoy my new pics I added to the site, hope you like my logo( need a name still..Bazz?) I'll leave you with my kewl pixel person of me

Weekend..w00t?

That it is.Nothing big though. Friday was another long day, our game was a sad loss...as usual. The show went well, and we didn't have to do the 4th song :) Their crowd was a real ass though. Quote:" You suck!'' Damn hicks...Anyway, the bus ride was short. We played drug dealer the entire time even in the dark; intresting I'd say. Abit tired from all the yelling and jumping, but it was fun.
So now I'm here sitting infront of the computer on another boring Sat. I wonder what everyone else is doing. I'm pretty bummed that Dragon Raja wouldn't work, since it is my one good source of entertainment on the computer. My dad broke his laptop after it fell off the table, kinda funny to be. The downside to that though, he'd be hogging up MY computer >.<
Well nothing intresting yet...I feel like going to Haisting's and buy some CDs I have in mind.
About 3.5 more weeks left...

Made it through another day

Well hey again.Worked alot on this page and gave it new ideas. You should just see how much it is looking up. I turned the bland white background to this pretty yellow (maybe I'll add black poka dots later) changed most of the ugly fonts and gave it color. I still need to figure out how I can add pics directly onto the sites. Sadly there's still so much for me to learn in HTML.

Anyway, onto my day. History's another boring story of its own. Math: geometry test, no big. English: Silas Marner test--->.< I hate english..not that I dispise writing, but just not things like essays. I mean I like writing this even though it's pretty time consuming. I kind of want to write for the newspaper and such, but its not important right now. Band is awful as usual.( Can't really think of a good word there...) I hate our last song b/c the flag is so hellishly heavy. On top of that, we do spins that's so close to breaking my wrist. I'm just happy tomorrow since its Friday..not really. Game against Shelbyvile away. I don't really care about it..with our luck it's probably another sad lose. Another long day tomorrow ...and a boring weekend after.

Onto more intresting subjects. I found my homestead site. Let's just say it's funny to read things you wrote when you were 14. But a good use for the site: file dump and a good server to keep my things. :) Well that's about all.I'm tired so I'll work on this more over the weekend. Today I leave you with a simple footer I did really early on. Not much, just some basic functions.

my kewl easy footer!click here

(I would just uploaded here but the stupid program dosn't support .swf files =/ screw...)

Enjoy and Adieu!

M-Y-F-I-R-S-T-P-O-S-T-O-R-2-N-D

AHHH!! well hi.This is my first post b/c I just created this page!(2nd actually...my first one wasn't saved so I'm starting over again..-.- guess I'll make it short) So well my very first webblog, but not my first website though. Ah...that's another story of its own. Well I actually had several websites dedicated to me..and other things. My first one was started on homestead.com ( they're charging now so it kinda sux) That's the favorite page I've created..ever, since it did took me hellova time. I really liked my site. The formating was just so great and versatille so I didn't have to mess with HTML crap that I'm not so fond of. So you want to see it? well..It's long lost. I'll keep you updated on that. How about ''The long lost page--a search for my memory.'' Hmm...I'll work on that. Moving on!

It took me a while to find a tool that I liked to create my blog. All the good editors cost money..so forget them. This BLOGGER seems okay so far, except for the fact it deleted my very first post that took me a ''while'' to create. With a little work, this page is gonna be the best blog you've ever seen! ( Maybe I'll add some way kewl homemade flash animation with my way kewl Flash MX )

My plans for this site: First of all, I'm really big on template and layouts. I'm definatly going to change the boring template right now and create my own. How? I dunno for sure yet. Maybe a little work with Dreamweaver( which I'm still having trouble using like that stupid Blender program) or just steal it from some other nice looking sites. Sounds good whatever. 2nd of all, I want to add fresh contents to this page; not just boring story about me everyday..surely you want to heard better. Things like intresting sites, quotes, pictures, links, and all that other kewl stuff. I'll think about it more and leave it to an end for now.

So this marks the end of my very first post. I hope this site will go on unlike all my other websites. I might even have my own domain one day, or even..my own company! w00t! But that's for that, this is the end unfortunatly..for the day! I'll keep ya posted and make this site a whole lotta better! PEACE OUT!
