I told you so.

Isn't it just great to be back blogging? Sure!
I suppose I lacked the spirit and creativity to do any blog work for the past..erm..3 weeks...?
So anyhow, I can't recap all my experienced from the days I've missed blogging, not that much of you would take interest...then again, not that many of you are left browsing blogs.

To start off, school's been busy on and off. I'm to the point of the year where my entires day is filled with activities that I have no time to do my homework. It's abit strange since I haven't experienced much of those days in the past. Can't say it's for the worst, but when school gets busy again, it is.
Biggest thing is tennis. I have practice everyday afterschool and sometimes on Sat for two hours. (That's 4-6) Now I also have occasional play practices. usually from 7-9. But as tech week rolls in, it's going to be worse. It's a nice little play, and I do enjoy most of the rehearsals.
Well more about it..it's called "Baklavia" a play founded on the internet. It's about a pastry factory in Greece fighting a struggle to form their own county b/c of the taxes the gov't had put out. How? Well, gaining independence..one pastry at a time. The factory has it's loyal workers of 6---an odd bunch, lowering morals as the coffee beans and chocolate slowly drops in supplies.

Maybe a better description later, but you get the idea.

Now I can rant about school the most..as always. English in particular. I'd say the teacher really think we're over achievers who has nothing better to do thank read for 3 hours each night. By that I mean reading "The Grapes of Wrath" in 2 weeks with a finished analytical paper at the end. Just to point out that the book is 600 pages, rendering 100+ pages to read for the weekend. I don't have the time or luxury for it, so I'd be sticking with cliff notes...thank you public library!
So yes, the paper is going to be due next monday. But where am I going to be for half of this week?

New York!
Band trip for this year. I guess it's nice, but I've already been there, seen it. I'm not as excited as some people I've talked to.
So in a way this post is like a new away message. I'm going to be gone Wed. afterschool for a very long bus ride. I'll be back on Sun morning, and hopefully have stories to tell, and pictures to share..that is, after I write my paper.

"May we find justice and peace in this new nation!"

Temporarily Out of Service

As you can see, Bazzooka Network is currently lacking updates. I have been fairly busy for the past few weeks and the weeks too come. So, BN will be on a short hiatusl further notice. I'm sorry for those loyal watchers of BN, but I must take care of school first. New content will be on the way, hopefully. At the meantime, go check out affiliated blogs that are not dead. This is your captain, signing off.

~.~

At the moment: staring at the monitor in the dark while talking to the only person on MSN.
Mood: hmm..tired ish.
listening to: 311..very soft

So I haven't been too good about updating, then again, who is? Ahh yes..the blogging trend is slowly dying. Oh well... I'm sure at least someone would still read this really really awesome crap.

For me, school just plain sucks. I really don't remember the last time I had to work this hard.
English: Era project is Finally over. We're currently reading The Great Gatsby . On top of that, reading Whinsburg, Ohio for our book discussion project.
Biology: AHH..I wanna stab this class to death!! >.<

Weeeeeeee

Upside down pineapple cake is so moe ^^.Well I’m just here for another post. Yay...
It’s getting warmer for a change. I really didn’t like the cold weather all that much; don’t think anyone does. Almost all the snow has melted. Only the stubborn ice of the evil winter remains. (I love my writing skills. So persuasive eh?) I’m also glade that school is lightening up abit. The past month was so stressful that I almost felt depressed. Yay for emo music!

Our new computer came, and a new set of stereo for our “home theater”. So yeah, my dad is a control freak. At leat this PC came assembled. (Note post 12/31/03 for my “Happy New Years incident”) A cheap dell it is. Cheap yes, any good I don’t know. Let’s see, if I remember right. Pentium 4, 128mb memory (plus 250 from today’s successful upgrade), 6 USB, 5 PCI, ATI Rage video card, and 40G hard drive. A new graphic card is on the way, ATI Radeon 5600 I think, or something like that. The PC is pretty slick comparing to my many-upgrades-later Vaio. Ahh..how technology had advanced in the past 7 years. From the looks of it, the dell seems okay, guess I’ll see soon.

So yeah, I can’t think of anything else. The long forgotten “Pic of the Day” might make a comeback this weekend or so..just see.

Vday deserves a unique Post

Yup. Though this is completely irrelevant to Valentine's, it still intrigues me.

I was browsing through my site tracker out of boredom. One feature let's me see the referrals I had to my site. Fairly interesting it is. Many have visited my site from search engines...searching for things that are completely irrelevant. Funny I'd say. I listed some "keywords" they searched for that brought these unique individuals to my site. I also included links to some:

Snoww

It's school all over again. And it just keeps on getting longer... Last week was pretty nice with the two 2-hr delays. Though the snow did pile up to about 4 inches, we didn't get a snow day. I'm kinda sick of snow now. It doesn't ever melt, we still need to goto school, it's cold, and it's dirty. I mean it just looks like clear dirt..that's cold. But oh well, it's good while it lasted..although...

The weather is just plain weird. The temperature just fluctuated today about +20 ( I don't know...I've never been too good temp. wise) So it was raining afterschool. Kinda nice, wash away all the snows/salt that's been building up on the road. But it still can't melt any snow anywhere else. But perhaps the best part about it, it could call for a 2-hr delay. If you don't know, the water can build up overnight and freeze on the road if it's cold enough. Yup yup.
And it's snowing right now...like I said..weirdly unpredictable.

Anyway, school's been slowly down finally, but still a lot of upcoming projects. hmm..picked my next year's schedule today. 2 years before College, I have no idea what I'm doing. I want to do something like Graphic Design, but artists have it hard. No matter, I'm going into art's next year. I'm considering quitting band to fit in art and computer classes.

Well, don't have much to say. Been doing well I guess, drawing, eating, sleeping like the usual. Oh yeah, my parents bought a big screen on Sat., not sure why... It's a 57 inch HDTV. I wish it was LCD..that'll be so awesome..and about 5k off the budget.
And of course Sunday was the super bowl. Yeah, I'm sure you all know so bye.

Burnination!!

"It's snowing blood."

Well, my post finally. Last night/today it snowed, and it's cold. We didn't get out of school, but I kinda expected that. Although we did get a 2 hour delay, which I found out abit too late. Because of the coldness, the snow is turning to ice sort of. The lake in our subdivision is frozen a pretty good 6 inch. It would be so awesome to ice skate on it..but then I'd probably drowned.

I went around and took some snow pics. The one above I tweaked in PhotoShop. Some how the lake made me think of the one in "Dante's Inferno" (aka. Hell). The name I believe is "Phlegethon" where the "violent sinners" will end up.
The title was inspired by "Fahrenheit 451". Though this time 647 is the temperature which all things burn..expect for water/snow. Right...

Anywho..enuff about that.

I have so much work to do, especially in English. We had to re-write a scene from the play "Our Town" last friday and "act" it out in class today. My group was the longest...to much dedication on my part. On top of that, 2 projects: an Era project which we research on 20s-30s in 2 weeks. And then we have to present for 150mins. I really don't see how that relates to English...
Also, reading 2 novels for the next one month with a report and presentation.
So yeah..it kind of sucks. And I'm wasting so much homework time now.
Bye.

Update

Good news everyone. Comments are now back.
Due to hosting problems, Blogspeak is officially shut down. The funny thing is, Haloscan, which I thought of using before, decided to host all Blogspeak users. So now, BN's comments are in the hands of Haloscan. On the plus side, all the old comments are intact.
All Blogspeak users should've received an email. If not, check with Haloscan's website.

Happy Blogging!

Meh...

"BlogSpeak is currently down because the bastards that host it decided to suspend my account. I do not know as of yet when this situation will be resolved. If you don't want any JavaScript errors on your pages, take the code off for the time being. Thanks for your patience."

I was wondering why everyone's comment went down...oh well. I guess I'll wait for the mean time. If they can't fix it, I'll switch to HaloScan (the one Kristen is currently using.)

Well..I don't have to much to blog about lately. I'm on my one week "winter break". I really need this. I can catch up on tons of stuff like art, games, TV, and yeah..school work. I've been drawing more recently,a spur of ideas. Even have in mind for a manga..but most likely not gonna work.

I didn't feel much like sleeping, and I had this idea for awhile now:
"Bazz barcode"
So I finally took the time to give my blog a new look. It's not 100% what I wanted, since I dunno how to tweak some of the htmls. Anywho, hope this looks alright, I'll try to update on it.

Black Jesus

Like Black Santa wasn't enough. I was watching CNN the other day, one report intrigued me. It goes somewhat like this:
A church filed a report for a missing baby Jesus doll for the manger scene that sets outside of the church. A few days later, the doll was returned to its rightful place, but it was different. The doll was painted a shade of brown. Attached to it was a note that read some like:
" You and most people should know that Jesus is not an Aryan. I believe you do know this but doesn't have the consent to show it."
Not much is know about who has stolen the doll.

Well, that's about all I remember from it. I tried to find the original article on CNN.com, but not much luck. If you find anymore info on it, please let me know.

Abit of Update

Well..at least my computer is still here As you've read in my last post, my dad totally screwed up my comp. I've been working hard these days fixing everything or at least trying to.Report:

    Before:
  • computers: Sony VAIO
  • parts: new cpu/motherboard
  • OS: Win95, 2000
  • hardrive used: 40 gigs
  • # of pirated music files: 400
  • Status: Ready for upgrade

    After:
  • Computer: Sony VAIO
  • parts: fried motherboard
  • OS: Win2000
  • harddrive used: 4 gigs
  • # of pirated music file that's usable: 50
  • Status: Completion of downgrade

Approx time: 4 days.

As you can see, I recovered about 2G (out of 32) from my D drive. I guess it's better than nothing, but most of the files are corrupted. For instance, the picture files (mostly my artworks) are really useless now. Only 1/2 the data came through--- only 1/2 the pic can be seen.
Right now I'm using my VAIO..open cased. nothing gain really, except for this whole experience. What a thrill...
I don't know what's gonna become of my comp. It'll be a while till I get another upgrade ( Since my dad fried the good motherboard..yup). He wants to install WinXP on here, but I'm probably going to pass. There's still lot of work to come. I have to reinstall all my programs now...

Anyway, on other updates. I wanted something new, so why not a poll? I couldn't find a good script for a poll, so pardon the crappiness. I started a new file on FFVII, so that's why I chose to topic. I can't decide myself, so I wanted to see the readers response *Vote*. I'm wanting everyone to vote.

Yes, one vote can make a difference.
